Veterinary Services
River Basin Equine Services was established in 1997 and a hospital facility was constructed in 1999. Our goal
is to provide general equine veterinary service to the greater Cedar Rapids area and to function as a equine referral center for
Eastern Iowa veterinarians and horse owners.
Over the years we have developed a strong relationship with many
of the veterinarians in Eastern Iowa by providing consultations and facilities for equine patients requiring specialized diagnostics, surgical procedures and intensive care.
The River Basin
Equine hospital has climate controlled examination
and treatment areas. We also provide intensive care stalls and a surgical suite.
We have earned a respected reputation due to our commitment, professionalism, and compassion.
